Each year, JVS Scholars hosts our Back-to-School Drive to help students start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported. We provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies and uniforms, each one customized to fit the student’s grade level and specific needs. Our goal is to remove the financial stress that often weighs on families and ensure that every child has what they need to focus on learning and growth.

This initiative is made possible through the generosity of our community. We proudly accept donations that go directly toward purchasing school supplies, uniforms, and other essentials for students across Los Angeles. This year, we partnered with La Michoacana Ice Cream on Whittier Blvd in East Los Angeles to make the experience even more special. Every child who picked up their backpack received a free ice cream after school, turning a day of giving into one of celebration and joy.
